Brief

At the end of each school year, in July, the Fine Art department of the University of the Arts Utrecht presents the work of their graduates during the Exposure Graduation Show at the Pastoefabriek. A diverse and challenging body of work by a future generation of contemporary artists. The department was looking for a striking visual identity that would set there show apart from others during this festival season.

Approach

We designed a campaign and exhibition design that emphasized the contemporary and independent character of the departments and it’s graduates. Using a unique ‘exposure’ wordmark in combination with a typeface full of character we tried to fill up the exhibition space with a lot of character without using bold colours that would overshadow the works of the artists.
