HUSK is a ceramics design and production studio, specialising in slipcasting porcelain. Their work and products revolve around craft, soothing aesthetics and functionality. When the brand moved on into a new chapter we were asked to revise their entire visual identity and brand.
We worked towards a simple and spatial graphic identity based on a geometric typeface referring to the modern and minimal products HUSK produces. Implementing small typographic details in the logo and type makes for a less sharp/digital image and puts more emphasis on the hand made object.
The geometric shapes of the letters and the placement resembles the clear and consise range of products produced by HUSK. To bring the world of HUSK to life we worked together with photographer Elmer Driessen to capture HUSK's products and atelier.
